Join us on “Arctic nature Husky-walk with fire A fun easy hike with Huskies & fireplace lunsj for all ages! After picking you up from your accommodation in Longyearbyen, we will start the Arctic nature Husky-walk at our dog yard in Adventdalen. Here we live with around 50 Alaskan Huskies. If you love dogs as much as we do, we can choose some furry companions to come along and enjoy us. Together we then start our exploration of the nearby surroundings of Longyearbyen while looking for wildlife, reindeer and the occasional polar fox. . The Arctic Tundra on Svalbard is always a beautiful walking ground. You can enjoy the different kinds of lights during winter. Regardless of the weather; good or bad, starry sky, full moon, or northern lights, this will be a nice experience. Your guide is happy to share facts and stories with you about the area and our interesting life here. After returning to our dog yard we will sit together in our Gammen, a traditional Norwegian turf hut, where we will use our open fireplace to warm up ourselves after the tour. Our Arctic nature walk is perfect for people of all ages who wish to get out into the nature without doing anything too strenuous, as well as for families with children. There are plenty of things to enjoy at our dog yard to ensure a wonderful time for everyone. We hope to see you soon!
