In the summertime when the snow is more or less limited to the craggy mountain tops the dogs will happily pull you on the roads of Adventdalen. Take in the views of spring sunlight melting the last snow in a rapid scale and the reindeer migrating back into the area where food is plenty. The lush grass is spurting from the ground and flowers are starting to spread everywhere. The road leads us to the only active mine to date and passes a few abandoned ones. We are going out with a big cart, so you get to drive yourself, if you want. If not, me and my dogs will take you on a comfortable ride through the polar landscape while you sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery. During our little journey I will be able to tell you as much about Svalbard, sled dogs and my own Svalbard adventures as you want to know! Enjoy a nice cup of hot coffee or tea and cookies while we settle the dogs and have a chat. The dogs would love to get a hug or two before you travel back into town. The entire experience takes about 4 hours.
