Do you want to experience arctic winter time outside the city, in the dark period with northern lights ? Do you want to enjoy the atmosphere of about 40-50 dogs as your neighbours? This is possible at Svalbard Villmarkssenter. From 25.12.2016 – 01.01.2017 or alternativ 14.01.2017 – 21.01.2017. About 15-minutes walk from the center of Longyearbyen, you will find our first dog kennel. Here we got a cosy cabin with two sleeping rooms and a living room indluding a kitchen. In total, we have 9 beds but we will keep it with 6 guests plus 1 guide at all times. This fits for groups, families and friends who like to live collectively. Furthermore it is a good alternative for cheap and easy accomodation and for those who want to experience something different closed to the work in a dog kennel. The cabin is equiped with electricity but without running water. Water will be provided in cans. Because of the kitchen, you have the possibilty to make all your meals yourself, and enjoy them around the open fire from the cosy living room. There is no bathroom/shower, but an outside toilet. You will find different alternatives for having a shower in Longyearbyen. Remember to bring your own sleeping bag.
