Arctic nature “Husky-walk” with fireplace lunch

A fun easy hike with Huskies & simple meal. We meet at the tourist information, there we start the tour, towards our dog yard in Adventdalen (20-30 min). There we live with around 50 Huskies and are surrounded by a colony of about 600 nesting Eider ducks during summer (May to July). If you love dogs as much as we do, we can choose some furry companions to come along and enjoy us. Together we then continue our exploration of the nearby surroundings while looking for wildlife like birds, reindeer and the occasional polar fox. The Arctic Tundra is always a beautiful walking ground. You can either enjoy the different kinds of blooming flowers during summer or the fluffy looking cotton grass and rich colors of the autumn. Your guide is happy to share facts and stories with you about the area and our interesting life here. After returning to our dog yard we will sit together and grill some tasty sausages. Our Arctic nature walk is perfect for people of all ages who wish to get out into the nature without doing anything too strenuous, as well as for families with children. There are plenty of things to enjoy at our dog yard to ensure a wonderful time for everyone. We hope to see you soon! For booking children under 5 years old, please contact us. Important!
