Boat trips

In Isfjorden, a lot of exciting areas lie hidden, and Longyearbyen is starting-point for a number of interesting boat-trips. Day trips to the Russian settlements of Barentsburg or Pyramiden (now abandoned), to Tempelfjorden and, Bore glacier. Several of the trips take you to magnificent glaciers, others to sites outside the settlements where you can go ashore. Warm lunch is served on the boat. Bring warm clothes.
