This is a customized tour for those who want to experience a little bit of everything in one package!

Once summer has ended and the flowers and migratory birds have left, a different side of Svalbard begins to emerge, offering new and exciting opportunities.

After picking you up from your accommodation, we'll begin with a guided sightseeing drive around Longyearbyen, including a stop at the world-famous Global Seed Vault.

Built deep within the permafrost, the Seed Vault is the world's largest secure seed repository. Millions of seeds from around the globe are safely stored here in cold, dry chambers carved into the mountainside.

Your guide will explain the purpose of the Global Seed Vault and share insights into Svalbard's important role in science, research, and conservation.

As soon as the nights become dark enough, there is sometimes an opportunity to see the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis.

When auroral activity is present and the skies are clear, we'll take you to carefully selected viewing locations where you may witness this spectacular natural light show dancing across the Arctic sky.

Before returning you to your accommodation, we will finish the tour with a visit to Svalbard Villmarkssenter's dog kennel in Advent Valley (Adventdalen).

Please note that it is impossible to predict whether or not we will see the Northern Lights during the tour.

If there is little or no auroral activity, or if cloud cover makes viewing impossible, we may spend more time sightseeing, enjoying the company of the dogs, or your guide may offer an introduction to the science behind the Northern Lights, accompanied by a short photo presentation featuring auroras and sled dogs.
