Snowmobile safari to Elveneset

Included:

Briefing, snowmobile, fuel, snowmobile suit, special boots, outer mittens, helmet, face mask or balaclava, driving goggles, coffee/tea, insurance and tour leader with snowmobile, weapon and safety sledge.

We recommend that you wear warm woollen underclothes, warm outer trousers and a thick woollen sweater under your snowmobile suit. We also recommend that our guests pack extra clothes in their rucksacks, for example an extra sweater, cap and mittens. Do you use glases? We reccomend using lences while driving snomobile.

Regarding to the safety of the participants, we reserve the right to change the route in accordance with the weather and driving conditions. This will not affect the price of the tour.

The participant is obliged to ensure that the driver’s license is valid in Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and to contact the responsible authorities in case of any questions. The guide will check each passenger’s driver’s license and will refuse participation if necessary. No refunds will be given due to an invalid driver’s license.

Children under age of 8 years cannot participate. For those pregnant, please consult with your doctor before driving snowmobile. Driving under intoxication of alcohol is forbidden according to norwegian legislation. Liability insurance and rescue insurance is included in the tour price. All participants should have valid travel insurance. The cost of damages to the snowmobile and/or surroundings will be charged the driver if the driver has acted in a negligent manner.
To participate on this excursion, you must sign a waiver where you accept the regulations for the tour. A copy of this waiver can be sent to you in advance if desired.

Terms and conditions
Most of the activities require a minimum number of participants to be initiated, please look through the description of the activities. We reserve the right to change prices, the program, minimum number of participants and departure times. Please note that weather conditions may affect the execution of some tours. Activities can also be arranged outside the program scheduled periods on special request, dependent on a minimum number of participants specified by us.
Cancellation fees for activities:
9 or less participants:
If cancelled 22 days or more prior to departure 100 % refund.
If cancelled 22-8 days prior to departure 50 % refund.
Cancellations less than 7 days prior to departure is a ”no show” and do not qualify for any refund.
10 or more guests:
Cancellation deadlines for groups depend on the season. A full refund will be given for cancellations received:
121 days prior to activity, for activities between March 1 and May 20.
91 days prior to activity, for activities between May 21 and September 30.
61 days prior to activity, for activities between October 1 and February 28/29.
Group bookings can be reduced by up to 30% of the originally booked number, until 41 days prior to the activity.
You may apply to your insurance company for a refund if you provide a medical certificate.
