Spend a unique day with us into the valley of Endalen. A valley away from the crowds, where a thousand of small streams find their way through the impressive Arctic landscape. Put on your high boots, that you will get from us, to join all the way up to the waterfall, crossing many streams, being amazed by the Arctic landscape and possible wildlife. Once a week you can even take it even a step further and join our “circumnavigation“ version of this hike, where we will make a full circle, crossing the glacier of Longyearbreen to make our way back to town. Our day starts when we pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to our basecamp. Here we will change our shoes into waterproof boots, so your feet will stay dry and warm during our adventure. By minivan we will drive through the valley of Adventdalen, towards the starting point of our tour, the abandoned mine number 5 at the start of the valley of Endalen. From here we will start our nature hike, making our way through a beautiful and serene landscape, passing many streams of water and even crossing the river if needed. No worries about that, our experienced guides will know the best way on how and where to cross the river. It will be an adventure! Be amazed by the nature around you, scout for wildlife, enjoy the sounds of only nature and have our warm food with a view over the waterfall! This tour will take approximately 8 hrs. Waterproof boots and trekking poles will be provided for those who like. Transfers, warm expedition lunch and drinks are included. For those who are looking for a bit more challenging version of this adventure hike, every Saturday we will do the “circumnavigation“ where the waterfall isn’t the end of your hike. We will continue into the valley of Fardalsbakken before we will climb up to the glacier passage to reach the massive glacier of Longyearbreen. We swap to microspikes to safely go down on the glacier, passing by the melting channels of the glacier. This tour will be approximately a 10 hours trip and there is an extra fee of 200 NOK per person and is considered difficulty level 4/5.
