Are you ready for a fun Arctic midsummer night experience? Join our unique Arctic evening dive on the beautiful coastline of Spitsbergen! During summer we host our Arctic midsummer night Dive & BBQ. We will pick you up at your hotel and we will drive out of town along the coastline, before we reach our basecamp at the campsite. Here you can change clothes in the dressing room and you will get a bathrobe from us. Before we head out to the water, your guide will provide you with some more information regarding our dive. After the briefing we will walk towards the water where the Isfjord and the Adventfjord come together. We will measure both water and outside temperature to determine how long you will be able to stay in the water safely. Now the real fun starts! We dive, swim, dip or even go all the way under! Our guide will be on guard for Polar bear protection and will have some nice drinks ready for you, whilst you will be in your cozy bathrobes watching the midnight sun and enjoying the beautiful Arctic scenery. Back at our basecamp, you will be able to take a warm shower and change clothes. We have warm showers in the dressing room and we have clean towels for you to use. After getting dressed we will have a nice BBQ and we can enjoy the sight of birds nesting at the laguna close by. Our guide will tell you more about the different Arctic birds and keep your eyes open for spotting beluga's if we are lucky! During the BBQ we will hand out your official Arctic dive certificate! * Swimwear is not mandatory, and those who dare to jump in with or without it, will receive a unique certificate.
